Install a tracker

ClockZen records activity through the trackers below. Connect each one to the same ClockZen workspace and everything lands in one report.

Hosted sign-up is not open yet, so trackers need an existing workspace. About access.

  • Mac

    The desktop app tracks the app and window in front of you, runs focus sessions, and can block apps and sites during a session.

    Not available for public download yet

    1. 1 The Mac app is not yet signed and notarized for public distribution, so there is no installer to download today.
    2. 2 Until it is, the Chrome extension covers browser time and the Android app covers your phone.

  • Chrome

    The extension records the active tab’s domain and title so browser time shows up in the same report as your apps.

    1. 1 Unzip the download into a folder you will keep.
    2. 2 Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
    3. 3 Choose “Load unpacked”, select the folder, then enter your workspace’s API URL and ingest key in the extension options.

  • Android

    With your permission, the Android app reads usage time per app so your phone counts toward the same day.

    1. 1 Open the APK on your phone and allow installs from your browser if Android asks.
    2. 2 Enter your workspace’s API URL and ingest key.
    3. 3 Turn on mobile tracking and grant Usage Access when prompted.

  • Web

    Reports, settings, and a focus timer in any modern browser. The web app shows what your trackers recorded; on its own it cannot see other apps.

    Nothing to install

    Open the web app
    Windows and Linux desktop apps are not available. On those systems, use the Chrome extension for browser time and the web app for reports.
